Mini Us
A bottle-enthusiast-baby would fall for an avid-newspaper-reader-baby in the future. A match made in North Jakarta.
Pre-wedding photo sessions have become a prerequisite to modern-day weddings. On those special occasions, we go to beautiful places or photo studios to seize our moments of togetherness and to record that soon-to-be-extinct version of us in front of cameras. Yet, if pre-wedding shots are about documenting our lives before marriage, we thought that there should be more to be captured than our timid faces. Instead, we photographed our belongings, those meaningful things that we have kept and treasured across time but may later be forgotten or left out after we move and live together. These mundane objects are part of the experiences and memories that shaped us. They are also a good reminder. What makes them invaluable is neither their price nor the state of possession, but the intimate connection we build day after day—the emotional attachment that makes us belong together.
